\n\nOn April 11, bridging the gap between reflections and reality through the power of art, the fourth Pinghe High School Arts Festival, themed \u201cReflections, Horizons,\u201d concluded successfully. Although the festival has come to an end, the memories created by teachers and students who share a passion for art remain vivid and unforgettable.\n\n<\/div>\n
\n\nArt Exhibition<\/strong>\n\n<\/div>\n
\n\nLed by student ambassadors, guests from outside the school stepped onto the Pinghe Jinding campus and joined this grand celebration of art.\n\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\n\nThis year, the call for submissions extended beyond Pinghe itself. While every entry was met with appreciation and recognition, a selection of works was showcased in the exhibition space on the first floor of the Jinding campus.\n\n<\/div>\n

\n\nPrincipal Wan Wei Delivers Opening Remarks<\/strong>\n\n<\/div>\n
\n\nWe were honored to welcome distinguished guests from outside the school, along with Pinghe\u2019s leadership and the entire student body, to witness the opening of the Arts Festival together.\n\n<\/div>\n

\n\nAt the opening ceremony, the \u201cArtistic Corridor\u201d project officially began. Guided by the first curator, Jiani Gu, the audience experienced subtle yet omnipresent human connections through paintings and interactive installations.\n\n<\/div>\n

\n\nCharity Teddy Bear Coffee Cup Sale Booth<\/strong>\n\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

\n\nThe \u201cKaka Bear\u201d coffee cup made its official debut at the opening ceremony and went on sale. For every cup sold, a gesture of love is sent to the children of Tianba Town Central School in Qixingguan District, Bijie City, Guizhou Province.\n\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\n\nThe designer of the mascot, Jing Qiu, used the playful combination of coffee and teddy bears to share a story about the serendipity of growth and childlike wonder, while conveying heartfelt wishes to the children of Tianba Town Central School.\n\n<\/div>\n
\n\nArt Lecture<\/strong>\n\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\n\nThe \u201cReflections, Horizons\u201d Arts Festival featured a special guest lecture by Ms. Yijia Yang, Project Manager at Harvard University\u2019s Chinese Art Lab and a Pinghe alumna. She delivered an engaging talk on the intersection of digital technology and cultural arts, captivating the audience with fresh insights.\n\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\n\nLater, Principal Meng Li led five Pinghe High School graduates in an exclusive interview, offering the audience a unique and inspiring conversation.\n\n<\/div>\n
\n\nArt Workshop<\/strong>\n\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

\n\nDuring the event, we hosted three engaging workshops – DIY squishies, bead art, and handmade book crafting – which proved to be a hit among participants of all ages.\n\n<\/div>\n
\n\nArt Carnival<\/strong>\n\n<\/div>\n
\n\nAlong the corridor at the entrance of the gymnasium, 27 booths showcased their creativity, each offering something unique and exciting.\n\n<\/div>\n

\n\nIn addition to the Biyun Art Gallery and various student clubs, the Souvenir Sparks campus merchandise competition booth, organized by Grade 10 students, also joined this year\u2019s market. Their designs, blending creativity with practicality, were truly eye-catching.\n\n<\/div>\n

\n\nMeanwhile, melodies floated across the football field as students sat on the grass, enjoying this musical feast.\n\n<\/div>\n

\n\nWith that, the fourth \u201cReflections, Horizons\u201d Arts Festival came to a successful close. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every student, teacher, and parent who contributed to the planning and activities, and to Shanghai Pinghe School for its unwavering support.\n\n<\/div>\n
\n\nBeyond \u201cReflections, Horizons,\u201d the artistic journey for each of us continues to unfold.
